Dubbed the Queen of Pinoy Soap Opera or Young Superstar, Juday is considered one of the favorite actresses of all time.

Because of her acting prowess, she has received various awards and accolades through the years such as a Cairo International Film Festival Award, a Gawad Urian, two Luna Awards, two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards, and three FAMAS Awards.

Her showbiz career started when she was only ten years old when she became the lead star of the children’s television series Ula, Ang Batang Gubat in 1988.

Her career skyrocketed when she became part of the soap opera Mara Clara along with Gladys Reyes as well as Esperanza (1998), Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka (2001), and Basta’t Kasama Kita (2003).

Aside from being an actress, she also ventured into becoming a chef and restaurateur.

It was in 2015 when she wrote a cookbook called Judy Ann’s Kitchen, which won a Gourmand International’s Cookbook Award for Best Authors and Chefs Outside Europe.

Recently, she admitted that she’s having a hard time making a new episode for her online cooking show because of the continuing increase in prices of goods.

“Ang hirap kasing mag-isip ng mga episode especially kung ang pagtaas ng presyo ng bilihin ay napakalala,” she said.

“Ayaw kong maka-relate ‘yung viewers sa kung ano mang lutuin ‘yung gagawin ko kasi parang napaka-unfair naman ‘di ba?” she added.

Her post statement went viral and among those who reacted is no less than former MasterChef contestant Pebbles Cunanan.

According to her, Judy Ann Santos should learn how to find alternative and cheaper ingredients.
