Mike Abe vs Pastor Apollo Quiboloy
MIKE ABE – The Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) anchor walked out in the middle of a discussion with Pastor Apollo Quiboloy about the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
On July 26, Quiboloy and Abe talked about the first SONA of PBBM.
In the said program, it can be deduced that the two have a contradictory opinion on the speech of the president.
According to Abe, who’s a supporter of PBBM, the current president has a lot of good plans that would benefit the Filipinos.
But for Quiboloy, a staunch supporter and close friend of ex-President Rodrigo Duterte, his plans will not prosper if the rebellion won’t get eliminated.
Quiboloy said that PBBM should have mentioned his stand against rebellion so that the public knows he’s continuing what Duterte has started.
All of a sudden, Abe thanked Quiboloy, “dropped” his microphone, and walked out.
It can be seen in the background that Quiboloy is trying to calm Abe but the latter continued with his act.
Meanwhile, Quiboloy immediately released a statement expressing his dismay as to what Abe did on live television.
According to the religious leader, Abe seemed to embarrass him.
“Hindi niyo pwedeng gamitin ang SMNI para sa sarili niyong opinyon na hindi na objective, hindi pwede sa SMNI ‘yun,” he stressed.
Quiboloy said that Abe should have respected him being the owner of SMNI.
Mike Abe has already issued a statement and clarified that he doesn’t have a “sama ng loob” to Quiboloy.
