Here’s the reaction of Sam Milby on the breakup of Moira and Jason
SAM MILBY – The singer-actor has reacted to the controversial breakup of Moira dela Torre and Jason Hernandez.
It was on May 31, 2022, when Moira and Jason were confirmed to have split up after three years of marriage.
Jason admitted that his being “unfaithful” was the reason why they broke up.
Last June 3, Moira released an official statement after being questioned over her link to a colleauge.
Although Moira did not drop any name whom she was linked with, she stressed that she did not cheated on her husband.
In a separate interview via Magandang Buhay on June 6, she shared that she did not think her relationship with Jason end up in nothing.
Amid the breakup of Moira and Jason, Sam Milby admitted that he got into talks with the Idol Philippines judge.
But he stressed that he’s not in a position to give an opinion about their failed marriage.
“I’ve been able to talk to her. When it comes to that issue, it’s not my story to tell,” he said in an interview with PEP.ph.
“But kahit nung bago siya sumikat, I was already her kuya, and I’m very protective of her,” he added.
Sam said he wanted to meet Moira in person but they are busy in their respective career.
Aside from being part of the Kapamilya prime-time series, A Family Affair, Sam is also active in doing concert tours.
In fact, he went to Canada in May alongside his girlfriend Catriona Gray, and this July, he’s in the US for another concert tour.
Moira once shared in a vlog interview with Toni Gonzaga that there was a time she stayed at Sam’s condo unit when she was starting in showbiz.
At the time, his elder sister Ada was based in the US.
Moira’s parents are already separated- her mom lives in Olongapo while her dad is in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sam and Moira consider each other like siblings.
