Cosplayer?! A netizen defend VP Sara Duterte against criticism of her SONA 2022 outfit
SARA DUTERTE – A netizen took to social media wherein she exposed and slammed two alleged to be Kakampinks who called the vice president “cosplayer” because of her SONA 2022 outfit.
On Monday, July 25, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. laid down his plans for the next 12 months in his first State of the Nation Address.
PBBM shared the current situation of the country, especially with the pandemic brought by the coronavirus, the country’s economic status, and his plans for tourism, social welfare, agriculture and to name a few.
Among those present in the first SONA of the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines is no less than Vice President Sara Duterte.
The daughter of ex-President Rodrigo Duterte caught the attention of the crowd after sporting a Bagobo Tagabawa traditional dress.
Many noticed her, however, there are some who poked fun with her outfit.
On Facebook, two alleged to be Kakampinks criticized the outfit of the Education secretary. One of them even called her “cosplayer.”
But a netizen named Grace Ballarta came to defend VP Sara Duterte.
She went to the social networking site wherein she exposed the two netizens.
“Entertainment? Cosplay? We, people in Mindanao, especially in Davao City, support and preserve the tradition of our Lumad brothers and sisters. In fact, this August we are celebrating the Kadayawan Festival na sila ang bida,” she wrote.
Her post had gone viral garnering mixed reactions from the netizens.
Most of the netizens agreed with her stance.
Meanwhile, Sara Duterte has yet to issue any reaction about the matter.
