Here’s the reaction of some celebrities to the singing of Karla Estrada of the national anthem at the 19th Congress opening
KARLA ESTRADA – Some celebrities reacted to the singing of the actress-host of the national anthem at the opening of the 19th Congress.
Karla whose real name is Carla Elago Ford is an actress, host, and singer who hails from Tacloban City in Leyte.
She rose to fame via films and television series; Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita? and Maricris Sioson: Japayuki.
She’s the mother of actor Daniel Padilla. Aside from him, she also has three other kids namely Jose Carlito, Margaret, and Carmella.
Karl was the one tapped to sing the national anthem at the opening of the 19th Congress.
Her performance of the national anthem made rounds earlier, generating reactions from the netizens.
Among those who reacted is Amy Perez, Karen Davila, R&B singer Jay-R, Mica Javier, Nadia Montenegro and to name a few.
She also ventured into politics but failed to secure a spot after only two won as representatives of the Tingog party list namely Yedda Marie Romualdez and Jude Acidre.

Meanwhile, Leyte 1st district representative Ferdinand Martin Romualdez has been elected as the House Speaker of the 19th Congress.
On the other hand, among those elected as Deputy Speaker were former President and Pampanga representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Davao City Rep. Isidro Ungab, Antipolo Rep. Robbie Puno, Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar, Ilocos Sur Rep. Kristine Singson-Mehan, and TUCP party-list Rep. Raymund Democrito Mendoza.
