Cali Island Band Member Accidentally Lost Trumpet But Honest Man Immediately Returned It
The band member of the local group Cali Island was able to recover his lost trumpet with the help of police authorities.
The Facebook page Cali Island PH has shared photos of their member’s lost trumpet and the personalities who helped to find the instrument. The post goes viral and earned various reactions from the online community.
The band narrated that they took the earliest trip heading to Dumaguete after having a gig in Siquijor. The band waited for their service vehicle and stayed at Siliman University. The band members together with their colleagues get into the van and accidentally left Edward’s trumpet and stand.
The group was traveling along Sibulan when they noticed that the trumpet was missing. The van returned to Boulevard but failed to find the musical instrument. The band immediately reported the incident to Dumaguete City Police Station.
The cops immediately respond and traced the trumpet’s location with the help of Staff Sgt. Brian Tubaña within just an hour. The group also expressed their gratitude toward the guy who returned the instrument.

“Another experience na naman.
Nag gig kami kagabi sa Siquijor at kinuha namin yung 6am trip papuntang Dumaguete. At around 7am dumating na kami at naghintay sa service naming van till 7:30am. Dyan kami sa may tapat ng Siliman University, sa boulevard muna tumambay. Tapos nung dumating na yung van, sumakay kami lahat at naiwan namin ang stand at trumpet ni Edward. Nasa Sibulan na kami ng na notice namin na hindi namin dala ang trumpet so we decided na bumalik. At pagbalik namin wala na yung trumpet at stand.
Nag pa blotter kami sa Dumaguete City Police Station at tinulungan kami ni Staff Sgt. Brian Tubaña. In just an hour na aksyonan na kaagad at na trace kung nasaan ang trumpet at ang stand.
Napakarami pong salamat sa Dumaguete Police sa napakabilis na aksyon. Salamat po mula sa Cali Island PH at sa kay kuya na nag sauli ng gamit.
