Policeman jailed for molesting a male teenager
LAS PIÑAS CITY – A policeman was arrested for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old boy inside a police station.
The incident took place at sub-station 1 of Las Piñas City Police on Tuesday, May 31.
Based on the report, the incident happened while the mother of the victim was conducting a morning devotion and Bible study. The victim’s mom is a pastora or female preacher assigned at the station.
While the pastora was preaching, the minor went outside and the policeman, who was serving as a desk officer at the time, approached him.
The police allegedly touched the young man’s left shoulder and chest, until he reached the teen’s private part.
Apparently, the molestation did not end there after he let the teenager get inside his office and continued with his lewdness.
The victim’s mother complained about the incident to the Las Piñas City Police.
Police Colonel Jaime Santos, chief of the Las Piñas City Police said that he personally went to the sub-station and effected the arrest.
The policeman and the complainants faced off at Las Piñas Police where the victim positively pointed out the suspect.
According to Santos, the suspect was supposed to retire in a few years.
The suspect refused to give any statement. He will face multiple charges such as s*x*al assault and violation of Republic Act 7610.
The sub-station commander of the Alabang Zapote station is also set to explain why the incident was allegedly allowed to happen right inside the station.
