On his birthday, Chavit Singson give away 24 pairs of Air Jordan and 1 million pesos to netizens
CHAVIT SINGSON – The Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Mayor give away 24 pairs of Air Jordan and 1 million pesos on his birthday.
Luis Crisologo Singson also known as Chavit Singson is a politician, serving as the mayor of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, since 2019.
He was the governor of the province of Ilocos Sur from 1972 until 1986, again from 1992 until 2001, and again from 2004 to 2007 and from 2010 until 2013.
He was also the Deputy National Security Adviser for the Philippine government (2008). In 2007, he ran for Senator under Team Unity, however, he failed to enter the Magic 12.
Earlier, he announced on the social networking site, Facebook that he will be giving away 24 pairs of Air Jordan and 1 million pesos.
During his 81st birthday celebration on Tuesday, June 21, give away 24 pairs of Air Jordan which he bought from South Korea.
24 lucky netizens were chosen in the raffle to receive the shoes, which he considered one of his favorite shoes.
An Air Jordan 1 cost more or less ten thousand pesos (10,000).
On the other hand, the 1 million pesos have been divided among 200 people which means each received 5,000 pesos.
His post was then flooded with birthday greetings.
It can be recalled that Singson was supposed to run again as mayor but decided not to pursue his reelection bid.
