Using money gun, Chavit Singson shoots cash to his constituents
CHAVIT SINGSON – The Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Mayor is making a buzz online after giving away money to his constituents using a golden cash gun.
It’s the season of giving and speaking of which, it’s common to see people giving away stuff and even money.
However, instead of the traditional way of giving money, 80-year-old Singson used a cash gun.
The “money gun” or cash gun is often used in music videos by Hiphop artists.
In the video, Singson can be seen giving away 100 and 500 peso bills which he puts in the money gun.
Narvacan residents were happy with Singson’s unique way of distributing money. Some netizens couldn’t help but say “Sana all.”
Apparently, there were some who are not happy with his way of giving money.
“Kawawa naman mga tao. Pag natapakan kau jan at natumba disgrasya pa.d na lang ibinahay bahay para lahat meron .sa ganyang sistema Meron nakarami yong magaling bumalya.yon mahina waley,” said a certain Emelita Bautista.
“Pinagmumukha mukhang pera ang mg tao iyan puwde naman sya mamimigay ng pera bahay bahay hindi pa kailngan mag yabang na tulad nito.. galing naman sa corruptions almost ang kanyan yaman,” David Angelo Tizon noted.
Singson’s camp has yet to issue any statement over criticisms they received.
Luis Crisologo Singson also known as Chavit Singson is a politician, serving as the mayor of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, since 2019.
He was the governor of the province of Ilocos Sur, starting from 1972 until 1986, again from 1992 until 2001, and again from 2004 to 2007 and from 2010 until 2013.
He was also the Deputy National Security Adviser for the Philippine government (2008). In 2007, he run for Senator under Team Unity, however, he failed to enter the Magic 12.
