As featured in a vlog posted last December 24, Jennylyn and Dennis went to hand out envelopes of cash to 10 random people – including a man who didn’t know where to spend Christmas and a woman camped out on the street.

The newlyweds also had a surprise gift for their Grab driver, taho vendor, and the very first fan who subscribed to their YouTube channel.

GMA News Online reported that the fan turned out to be an OFW working hard to support her family, so Jennylyn and Dennis sent her a gift through online banking.

At the end of the vlog, the couple reminded the public that a lot of people weren’t so “blessed” this year, particularly the victims of typhoon “Odette”, for whom they’re accepting donations via their mobile donation drive StarTRUCK.

Maliit man o malaki, ang importante makatulong tayo in our own little way kasi, ‘pag pinagsama-sama lahat ‘yang effort na ‘yan ay malaki na rin ang magagawa,” Dennis said.

Jennylyn and Dennis, who have a baby on the way, announced that they got married in a civil ceremony last month.

Previously, Jennylyn announced the return of their relief operation initiative as she relaunched StarTRUCK in order to help those people affected by typhoon “Odette”.

Hello mga bessie! Pasko na sa darating na Sabado pero nakakalungkot na marami sa mga kababayan natin sa VisMin ay tila hindi ito maipagdiriwang tulad ng dati dahil sa pinsalang dulot ng bagyong Odette. Kaya naman muli tayong magkaisa at tumulong sa kanilang pagbangon,” Jennylyn wrote in the caption on her Instagram post at that time.
