On Wednesday, May 18, Tulfo was arrested due to the cyber libel case filed against him by former Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre.

Among those who reacted to his arrest is no less than Rock Dela Rosa, the son of Sen. Bato.

He went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he reposted a report about Tulfo’s arrest.

His post was accompanied by the caption: “Tagam ! Gawan mo pa ako ng kwento hahaha..”

As expected, it generated mixed reactions and comments. One of the netizens wrote: “Buti nga na aresto ang mayabang.”

It can be recalled that it was in 2017 when Rock Dela Rosa made headlines following an article published by Mon Tulfo in the Philippine Star wherein he claimed that the senator’s son is receiving VIP treatment at the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) due to the influence of his father.

Tulfo is wondering why the young Dela Rosa was never subjected to discipline by upper-class cadets, tactical officers, and professors at the PNPA.

He also claimed that Rock would slip away every night to sleep in his home or at the Special Action Force (SAF) camp and would return early in the morning.

He also called Sen. Bato, a former chief of the PNP, a “clown.”
