Soriano is the husband of actress-host Toni Gonzaga.

He is the director of some well-known films such as A Journey Home (2009), Thelma (2011), Kid Kulafu (2015), and Dukot (2016).

During the election period, Paul served as director of campaign ads for his “ninong” Bongbong Marcos.

Since BBM is already presumed as the next president of the Republic of the Philippines, rumors surfaced that Soriano might be given a government position.

But in an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Mario Dumaual, he denied that there’s a government post reserved for him.

Earlier, rumors surfaced that he might lead the Radio TV Malacañang (RTVM).

RTVM covers every activity of the president.

“I am back to my job, producing films and commercials. Currently we’re preparing for the straight airing on Netflix this July of the comedy drama, The Untitled, with Alex Gonzaga,” he said.

He also stressed that there’s “no such thing” that he might be appointed as secretary of the Department of Tourism or Presidential Communications team of the Marcos administration.

But he’s open to directing the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of BBM.

He also shared that his wife is also willing to help the incoming administration in any way possible.

Toni served as host in big campaign rallies of BBM with his running mate, presumptive vice president Sara Duterte.
