IGLESIA NI CRISTO – The religious group is endorsing the candidacy of Bacolod City mayoralty candidate Albee Benitez.

INC is an independent Nontrinitarian Christian church, founded in 1913 and registered by Felix Y. Manalo in 1914 as a unipersonal religious corporation to the United States administration of the Philippines.

INC describes itself to be the one true church and the restoration of the original church founded by Jesus, whereby all other Christian churches are apostates.

Previously, INC endorsed the UniTeam of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

The BBM-Sara tandem will go against the tandem of; Vice Presiden Leni Robredo and Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist Representative Lito Atienza, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc. Willie Ong and Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

Meanwhile, Iglesia ni Cristo is endorsing Bacolod City mayoralty candidate Albee Benitez as per the report of Digicast Negros.

Benitez is a Filipino-American businessman and politician serving as a consultant to the provincial government of Negros Occidental since 2019.

He served three consecutive terms as the representative of Negros Occidental’s 3rd district from 2010 to 2019.

He was one of the richest congressmen in the Philippines.

Aside from him, the religious group is also endorsing incumbent Congressman Greg Gasataya for congressman and incumbent Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran for vice mayor.

INC is also endorsing Bacolod City candidates Em Ang, Archie Baribar, Simple Distrito, Carl Lopez, Renecito Novero, Bart Orola, Kalaw Puentevella, Dindo Ramos, Cindy Rojas, Israel Salanga, Thaddy Sayson and Jason Villarosa.
