In an interview, Marcos Jr. recounted his conversation with Duterte, the father of his running mate Vice President-elect Sara Duterte.

“One thing that he was assertive about is that… ituloy mo yung anti-drug syndicate (campaign) na sinimulan ko. Do it your own way,…. palitan mo gawin mo yung… pero wag mo iiwanan yan dahil kawawa ang kabataan natin talagang nasisira ang buhay nila,” BBM said.

When asked if he’s open to the possibility of Duterte becoming his Drug czar, he said: “If he wants to.”

Marcos Jr. clarified that he’s yet to discuss with the outgoing president about it but he’s open to anyone who would like to help in his coming administration.

His term as the newest president of the Republic of the Philippines will start on June 30.
