Because of the pandemic, a lot of people lost their source of income. One of which is a couple from Bulacan named Denielle Hernandez and Jomari Siongco who became jobless.

In 2020, they started to sell peri-peri chicken, which is a family recipe of Jomari.

In less than two years, they established a physical store and now have monthly earnings of six digits.

They also have six franchised stores and will expand in Metro Manila this year.

Last January 9, Denielle took to Facebook wherein she posted a picture of faded paper that contained the list of pre-ordered peri-peri chicken.

They only had five orders and the total is only two thousand pesos.

But who would have thought that after more than a year, they are now earning six digits a month out of their small business?

Denielle used to work as a teacher while Jomari was once an artist.

They started with only P20,000 capital which they borrowed from their loved ones.

After a few months, their small business became a hit, and eventually, they expanded their business using an old truck.

Their business which started with few menus is now serving Mediterranean dishes.

Their franchise package is now worth PHP160,000 including their initial supply of products as well as training for staff.

According to PEP.ph, some of their specialties include peri-peri chicken, kebab, and liempo.
