Daniel Padilla is rooting for Robredo while his mom Karla Estrada is supporting BBM
DANIEL PADILLA – The Kapamilya star showed his support to Vice President Leni Robredo in her presidential bid this coming election.
The actor is currently making rounds online following his photo with film director Mandy Reyes.
In the photo which Reyes uploaded on his Facebook page on Wednesday, March 9, the two can be seen posing along with the campaign poster of Robredo.
His post was accompanied by the caption: “Aba ewan ko sa inyo. Basta kay #LiderLeni kami ng tropa kong gangster.”
Meanwhile, it’s obvious that Daniel and his mom Karla Estrada are supporting different candidates in the presidential election.
Karla has been openly supporting presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Karla was first spotted with the BBM-Sara tandem during their proclamation rally held at the Philippine Arena last February 8.
Karla is running as the third nominee of the Tingog party-list, whose incumbent representative is Yedda Romualdez.
Romualdez is one of the 70 congressmen who voted not to renew the franchise of ABS-CBN.
Daniel Padilla on the other hand is one of the famous stars of ABS-CBN while Karla is a former host of daily morning talk show of the network, Magandang Buhay.
Karla left the show when she filed her certificate of candidacy in October 2021.
Robredo is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election.
Together with her runningmate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, they will go against the tandem of; former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
