According to Feliz and Jay Jay Lucas, the warehouse was used to be a storage of AC unit condensers of their former tenants.

Feliz shared that she and her husband were watching Tiny House Nation on Netflix when they thought about their old warehouse.

“We thought it would be a good space where we can hold our daughter’s second birthday,” she said.

At the time, the couple was busy in the renovation of their Balara Content Studio since Jay Jay works as a photographer.

They first consulted a foreman and decided to turn their old warehouse into a tiny house.

The storage house has a floor area of 18 square meters.

They were not able to use it for the birthday of their child due to lack of time. However, they had ample time planning what they were going to do to make it more attractive.

They first see to it that it has a working bathroom.

Their tiny house has an open layout design with a sleeping area near the window.

At the other end of the tiny house is the compact kitchen.

They also used eco-friendly limewash paint to make it spacious.

Feliz noted that the bathroom is the most difficult part of their house. In fact, it took them four times to install and remove the tiles just to fix the pipes and water lines.

One of the main features of the tiny house is the roof deck. They used old metal bars in the staircase.
