Here’s the response of Oyo Sotto when asked about acting career of Kristine Hermosa
OYO SOTTO – The son of Bossing Vic Sotto denied that he prohibited his wife Kristine Hermosa from accepting acting projects after they tied the knot.
It was in 2004 when Oyo and Kristine first met when they starred together in the first “Enteng Kabisote” movie.
In 2011, after being a couple for more than a year, they tied the knot.
However, after Oyo and Kristine got married, the latter became less visible on television and in movies.
At the time, it was said to be the peak of her showbiz career.
Recently, the two had a tell-all interview with Kapamilya host Toni Gonzaga, which was posted on her YouTube channel.
In the said vlog, Sotto denied prohibiting Hermosa to accept acting projects after their marriage.

According to Oyo, Kristine really wanted to work right after their nuptials. However, she could not find the right material for her.
Right there and then, Oyo accompanies Kristine whenever there’s a project being offered to the actress.
“Ito kasi gustong kasama ako para din daw marinig ko. Ako naman, lagi ko naman sinasabi sa kanya, ‘Okay ako mag-work ka kung gusto mo. Pero gusto mo ba ‘yung gagawin mo?'” he said.
It was in the year 2000 when Kristine Hermosa’s career skyrocketed after she starred in the hit series, “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” along with Jericho Rosales.
It paved way for several major roles in movies and television.
Apparently, her career went on hiatus after marrying Sotto. Presently, they have five kids and it was in August last year when they welcomed their youngest child named Isaac.
