Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna has this funny experience at a tollgate
Actress Ellen Adarna was mistaken for a “kabit” of her husband actor Derek Ramsay during their first road trip as a married couple.
Derek and Ellen are celebrating their first anniversary and they decided to have a road trip. The celebrity couple tied the knot last November 2021 just months after they became boyfriend-girlfriend.
In a series of videos posted on his Instagram Story, Derek was asked by a tollgate attendant if the woman who was with him was his wife, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
“We just went through the tollgate and then the guy asked, ‘Si Ellen po ba ‘yung kasama niyo?’” Derek Ramsay said. Ellen Adarna was the one who answered the tollgate attendant. “No! His kabit!”
The actor jokingly added, “Sorry, sir, that’s my kabit.” They just both laughed at this. Derek said that he did not know what to say and added that because of this, he is being rumored as a “playboy”.
Derek and Ellen drove all the way to Pangasinan and based on their social media posts, the actress’s son Elias and the actor’s son Austin were also with them.
Previously, Ellen Adarna was asked if she and Derek Ramsay had a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot. The actress did not answer directly the question but she gave a meaningful reply. She said that she is not “lugi” with Derek and so is she to him.
It is known to many that before entering showbiz, Ellen belongs to a wealthy clan in Cebu while Derek is also a well-off celebrity.
