Here’s the clarification of Korina Sanchez over her interview with BBM
KORINA SANCHEZ – The broadcast journalist made a clarification following her interview with presidential aspirant and former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
It was just recently when Bongbong faced Korina for an exclusive interview.
Their tell-all interview took place amid the Kapisanan ng mga Broadcaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) presidential forum.
On Friday, February 4, KBP had its presidential forum and it was attended by presidential candidates such as labor leader Leodegario “Ka Leody” de Guzman, Senators Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo. Apparently, Bongbong was not present in the said forum.
His absence in the forum became a hot topic on social media.
Marcos’ spokesperson Atty. Vic Rodriguez said they preferred to attend Sanchez’s interview because the former senator has more to share when the interview is one-on-one.
Meanwhile, Korina Sanchez, the wife of former interior secretary Mar Roxas made a clarification about her interview with Marcos.
According to her, it was the camp of Marcos who chose the schedule of the interview.
“To be clear: When we invited BBM it was his team who chose the time and date. We had no choice,” she said.
She also shared on her Instagram post the questions she raised for Marcos.
