Celebrity couple Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia recently extended their help to typhoon “Odette” survivors in Bohol, after their plans to welcome the New Year in Bohol were called off because of the calamity.
In an Instagram story on Monday, January 10, Gabbi shared that she and Khalil, together with their families, were supposed to celebrate the New Year in Bohol but they decided to extend their help to the Boholaños instead.
“Khalil Ramos and I, together with our families, were supposed to celebrate the New Year in Bohol. But then, Typhoon Odette happened. We decided to donate and help out the Boholaños instead,” Gabbi wrote on her Instagram Story.

Also, Gabbi expressed her appreciation for the Bohol-based island resort who helped them arrange the relief initiative for Boholaños at Poblacion Ondol in Bohol.
The actress urged her followers and fans to help the recovery of typhoon-hit communities if they can.
Last January 4, Bohol recorded at least 111 fatalities after typhoon “Odette” pummelled the province and other areas of Mindanao and the Visayas in December last year.
According to Bohol Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) chief Dr. Anthony Damalerio, the initial damage incurred in the province for all sectors amounted to a total of PHP 10 billion.
Meanwhile, other local celebrities have also heeded the call of communities severely affected by the typhoon — including Beatrice Luigi Gomez, Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado, Andi Eigenmann, and Nadine Lustre, among others.
