NADINE LUSTRE — The actress-singer and her rumored boyfriend Christophe Bariou led the relief operations in Siargao.
Nadine and Christophe have been leading relief operations in Siargao, one of the worst-hit areas by typhoon “Odette”.
Christophe shared on Facebook last Thursday photos of Nadine busy with coordinating relief supplies, including one where she’s posing with a solar panel — among the items their group had reportedly been donating to typhoon “Odette” victims.
Nadine had a home in Siargao and she had been shuttling between Manila and the island, where she resided for weeks or months at a time. Christophe, meanwhile, owned a luxury resort in Siargao.
“Guys we are working day and night here to set up, coordinate, and secure distribution points for relief goods especially rice and canned goods,” Christophe wrote.
Nadine and Christophe’s efforts have so far reached Union, Malinao, and Mam On, according to Christophe.

Christophe also detailed donation channels by posting his bank account number. He added that the environmental group Greenpeace had been “helping a lot on installing and distribution of power stations and lights.”
“It’s ant work here in the island. I see everybody trying to help their own area of responsibility,” Christophe wrote. “Things are finally improving but we need all the help possible. Thank you so much!”
Last week, Nadine urged help for victims of typhoon “Odette”, saying that she had been “frantic all day” amid the wide devastation in parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
At that time, Nadine also described the airport at Siargao Island in Surigao del Norte as a “war zone”.
