Xian Gaza Reacts to Child Who Complained About Her Father on Raffy Tulfo

XIAN GAZA – The controversial social media personality expressed support for the child who complained about her father to Raffy Tulfo over her 500-peso daily allowance.

Gaza supports the child’s complaint about her allowance, pointing out that it is indeed insufficient given the high cost of goods today. He mentions his own higher support levels for his children, providing PHP 2500 per day to his first child and PHP 1670 per day to his second child. However, Gaza criticizes the public airing of such family financial disputes.

He rebukes those who criticize the child for being ungrateful, arguing that older generations often fail to understand the younger generation’s perspective and should not dismiss their feelings just because their own experiences were different.

Gaza expresses a strong opinion that if someone can only afford to provide PHP 500 per week, they should not have children. He concludes by advising Generation Z to avoid having children if they cannot provide more than PHP 500 per week, emphasizing that this is his personal opinion and acknowledging he might be wrong. If his statement has offended anyone, he apologizes.

To recall, a Senior High School student named Alexandra Ortega faced backlash and ignited an online debate after she appeared on Senator Raffy Tulfo’s show, complaining that the PHP 500 daily allowance from her father, Rolando Ortega, was insufficient. Alexandra, accompanied by her mother Liza Vergara, claimed her father, a Grab driver experiencing fluctuating health and income, had not provided her allowance for a week and that his support had become inconsistent.

She also accused Rolando’s new wife of interfering with the allowance payments. Despite the family conflict becoming public, Rolando expressed his love and commitment to supporting Alexandra’s education, promising to try and maintain the daily allowance.

The episode sparked a considerable discussion online, with many criticizing Alexandra for seeming ungrateful given her father’s efforts to cover not just the allowance but also major household expenses. Commentators pointed out that PHP 500 daily (totaling PHP 15,000 a month) should be more than adequate for a student and criticized her for publicly airing family issues.
