This was after the airing of “The Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews” on Saturday via GMA-7 wherein Sojo faces off four (4) presidential aspirants in the May 9, 2022 elections.

Sen. Ping Lacson, Sen. Manny Pacquiao, Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno, and Vice President Leni Robredo bravely responded to questions about their platforms, the country’s problems, and the various issues being thrown at them.

However, Bongbong Marcos is not present in the interview after his camp did not accept GMA’s invitation because according to Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Marcos’ chief of staff and spokesman, Jessica Soho is “biased against Marcoses”.

GMA7 issued a statement defending Jessica Soho against the accusations of Bongbong’s camp.

Following the said interview, Karen stressed that it is important for presidential candidates to participate in interviews with journalists from various platforms so that voters can better evaluate who they will elect in the coming polls.

On Sunday, she went to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein she expressed her admiration to Jessica Soho following her presidential interviews.

Karen also stressed that there is nothing wrong with the questioning of journalists– just work, nothing personal.

Meanwhile starting January 26 until 28, the presidential candidates will face Boy Abunda for a one-on-one interview which will premiere on his YouTube channel and Kapamilya channel.

It was announced that Bongbong Marcos will be part of the interview alongside the presidentiables who had an interview with Jessica Soho.
