Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz shared his reaction to the refusal of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos to join the GMA News’ Presidential Interviews.

Kapuso seasoned journalist Jessica Soho was the one who interviewed the presidential candidates who are the top 5 in surveys. However, only Vice President Leni Robredo, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Senators Ping Lacson and Manny Pacquiao, who accepted the challenge. Bongbong Marcos declined.

The camp of the former Senator has not released any statement yet regarding his refusal to join the Presidential Interviews that will be aired on January 22, 2022, at 6:15 PM on GMA.

One of the popular personalities who shared a reaction to this matter was Ogie Diaz. The comedian-talent manager retweeted a post from the account of a news site about the refusal of Marcos to be interviewed by Soho.

Ogie stressed that this could have been a big opportunity for the son of former President Ferdinand Marcos to defend himself from the issues being thrown at him. “Sayang ang chance. Para sana mas makilala siya ng mga tao at maipagtanggol ang sarili sa mga ‘isyu,’” the comedian-talent manager said. This post of Ogie also received various reactions from critics and supporters of Bongbong Marcos.

Meanwhile, as Ogie Diaz is known as one of the avid supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo, he said in a previous report that his support does not cost anything. He said that he is freely giving his support for the presidential candidacy of the Vice President.
