Leni Robredo, Kiko Pangilinan Visit Iloilo City

LENI ROBREDO, KIKO PANGILINAN – The presidential and vice-presidential aspirants were warmly welcomed by the Ilonggos in Iloilo City.

The Election 2022 is drawing near and some political aspirants have visited and met their supporters in some areas in the country. Many of them took it as a chance to listen to the pleas of the people.

One of those who are running for president in the next election is Vice President Leni Robredo. She is the presidential nominee of the opposition coalition 1SAMBAYAN.

After filing her candidacy as an independent candidate, Vice Pres. Robredo tapped Senator Kiko Pangilinan as her running-mate. He is running under the Liberal Party.

The presidential bid of the Vice President is linked to pink as its official color. As for the Vice President, it is not just a color but a way of living that embodies love for one another, truthfulness, and distinguishing right and wrong.

Today, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan are in Iloilo City. Many of their supporters waited on the streets to welcome the tandem.

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas and Ilonggo Sen. Franklin Drilon welcomed the Vice President and the Senator with the Mayor handing a bouquet of flowers to the presidential aspirant.

Mayor Treñas has previously expressed his support to the presidential candidacy of Vice Pres. Robredo. He stressed that as the father of his city, he must make a choice and a stand that is for the welfare of the people. He is in awe of the spirit of volunteerism in the people showing their support for the Vice President.

Many people wearing pink shirts waited on the streets in Iloilo for the arrival of Vice Pres. Robredo and Sen. Pangilinan. The presidential and vice-presidential aspirants got the doors of the vehicle they’re riding in opened so they can personally see and thank their supporters.
