JIMMY BONDOC – The member of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) Board of Directors was not in favor of the withdrawal of Sen. Bong Go from the presidential race.

In a surprise move, the longtime aide of President Rodrigo Duterte-turned-senator withdrew his bid for the highest government position.

Among those who reacted to his withdrawal from the race is no less than former singer Jimmy Bondoc.

On Facebook, Bondoc shared what could possibly transpire once Go makes official his withdrawal and if ever presidential aspirant, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was disqualified from the race.

Marcos Jr. has been flooded with disqualification cases due to his tax evasion case, the acts of his late dictator father during the Martial Law and claims that he is allegedly an impostor.

According to the former singer, if this worst-case scenario happens, VP Leni Robredo could win the presidency.

“If Sir BONG GO officially files his withdrawal, and by some stroke of great misfortune, BBM is disqualified, then I congratulate in advance my friends who are LENI supporters,” he said.

His post generated reactions from his friends and followers.

Among those who reacted is no less than former actress Vivian Velez who noted that Robredo won’t win in case of the withdrawal of Bong Go and disqualification of Marcos.

“hahaha not going to happen… but hypothetically… mas malakas pa si Tolonges kay Lugaw,” she said.

Meanwhile, the senator has not formally backed down from his candidacy.
