The COVID-19 pandemic remains to be the biggest challenge that the country is facing today. This disease that started way back in 2019 at Wuhan, China has placed a lot of lives at risk and has even taken the lives of many people.

A lot of personalities such as celebrities, elites, and even politicians were infected with the coronavirus as well.

Richard Reynoso, an OPM singer who rose to fame with his hit singles; “Hindi Ko Kaya,” “Paminsan-minsan” and “Maalala Mo Pa Rin” was among those hit by the disease.

A few days ago, he and his wife were rushed to hospital after contracting the dreaded virus.

Apparently, the singer had to be admitted to the ICU because his case was “critical.”

Richard Reynoso revealed that he was supposed to be intubated while at the ICU but doctors found a way to avoid it.

“Grabe experience. Muntik na. My doctors came in at sabi hindi pala severe yung aking case. Prognosis was critical COVID-19,” he said.

“COVID is real. It sucks. A simple activity like standing up from bed tapos pumunta ng banyo para mag-banyo, toothbrush, nakakahingal, kaya ingat po kayo,” he added.

According to him, contracting COVID-19 was something anyone would not want to experience.

He noted that he will have a long healing process and he’s hoping to get through this so that he could return to singing.

In the last part of his post, he thanked those who offered his family help, guidance, and prayers.
