Inquirer reported that former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile (JPE) and his daughter Katrina Ponce Enrile have forged an alliance with Partido Federal Pilipinas (PFP) president and presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos in a meeting at the former senator’s house in Metro Manila last November 5.

The Enriles said in a statement on Saturday that they, along with Board Member Perla Tumaliuan, met with the former senator wherein the younger Enrile was endorsed as a congressional bet in the first district of Cagayan under the Lakas-CMD banner.

According to the Enriles, they talked about common aspirations and programs of the parties.

A PFP adopted bet, Enrile had been also supporting Tumaliuan, a vice-gubernatorial candidate and PFP provincial chairperson.

According to a report, the younger Enrile had described herself as a “young political aspirant” even though she has tagged along with her father during her childhood years in political meetings and campaigns in order for her “to learn the ropes of politics early”.

It was last October 7 when the younger Enrile has filed her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for Cagayan First District Representative in the 2022 elections. Her camp was joined by Tumaliuan, who also filed her certificate of candidacy for vice governor under PFP.
