JPE’s daughter Katrina Ponce Enrile enters politics
KATRINA PONCE ENRILE – The daughter of former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile will run for a congressional seat in the coming elections.
KPE filed her Certificate of Candidacy for the congressional seat in the First District of Cagayan under the LAKAS-CMD party last Oct. 7.
Her COC was submitted by her lawyer, Atty. Cathleen Cotay because she is still in quarantine after being exposed to a COVID-19 positive.
KPE earlier said that her father has already given her blessings as she enters the world of politics.
Katrina Ponce Enrile finished Political Science at the University of the Philippines.
Prior to her decision to run for Congress, KPE held some of their family businesses as CEO and President. She was able to keep a good track record because of the success of their businesses such as the continued growth of the well-known food brand Delimondo in various parts of the world.
Her expertise in business, professional dealings, as well as her early awakening to the world of politics, along with her genuine concern and desire to help her fellow Cagayanos in times of need and disaster, could be the winning formula for her victory in 2022.
Her battle cry known as “Alagang Katrina” is being felt as she helps every Cagayanon and she plans to expand it when she wins the election.
Meanwhile, KPE’s camp was with Cagayan Third District Board Member Perla Tumaliuan when her COC was filed. Tumaliuan runs for vice governor under the Partido Federal Pilipinas, the party of former Senator and now presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos.
