RR Enriquez Slams Celebrities Supporting Leni Robredo: “Huwag din tayong insensitive”

RR ENRIQUEZ – The SawsaweRRa Queen slammed celebrities supporting presidential candidate, VP Leni Robredo.

It was just recently when the incumbent vice president filed her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) as she vies for the highest position in the government,

Among those who expressed their support for her candidacy are well-known celebrities such as Angel Locsin, Liza Soberano, Nadine Samonte, Jolina Magdangal, Agot Isidro, Enchong Dee, Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, and to name a few.

Since RR started to comment on issues in the country particularly about showbiz and as such, she has been tagged as SawsaweRRa Queen. She has been reacting to controversies involving celebrities, prominent personalities as well as topics concerning politicians.

Recently, the former Wowowin dancer took to social media criticizing those who are supporting Leni Robredo.

“Yung ibang mga artista, influencer na nag post ng Pink sana huwag din tayong insensitive. Ok lang isupport nyo sya as your President. Pero not to the point na may sasagasaan or ididisrespect,” she said.

She also lambasted the use of pink ribbon which she claimed was a symbol for breast cancer awareness.

However, some netizens were seemed to be pissed off with RR Enriquez’s tirade.

Meanwhile, in the recent press conference of VP Leni and her vice presidential running mate Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, she explained the reason behind why they chose the color pink.

“‘Yung pink ngayon ay siya ‘yung lumalabas na global symbol of protest and activism,” Leni said.
