The talent manager celebrated her birthday last night in Taguig along with her family and friends.

Among those who are present in the celebration was her husband Eddie Gutierrez, their daughter Ruffa Gutierrez, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, Herbert Bautista, and other personalities.

Also present in the said gathering are Senator Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee.

This, in the midst of a controversy involving Pacquiao’s former aide Jayke Joson.

Joson filed a cyber libel complaint against Rama for allegedly defaming him on social media after the talent manager defended Pacquiao over their feud in connection with a failed boxing contract.

Joson filed a lawsuit against Rama at the Cybercrime Division of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Quezon City.

Although she did not directly name Joson in her posts on Twitter and Instagram, Annabelle Rama referred to someone as “the thief, termite, worm and cancer in Manny’s life.”

She also detailed how Pacquiao’s long-time aide allegedly “kumupit ng pera” (stole money) from the boxing icon.

According to the NBI Special Projects Team, there will be fairness in the investigation of the case. NBI regional director Atty. Emeterio Dongallo said they will issue a subpoena to Annabelle Rama regarding the matter.

The matriarch of the Gutierrez family told ABS-CBN News that it was okay to charge her.

He also insisted that Joson should stop using her name in his candidacy for the 2022 elections.
