Joson claimed that the presidential aspirant sought some P165 million in advance payment for a boxing match against the mix-martial artist, Conor McGregor, that did not push through.

It was years ago when Joson started to join Team Pacquiao’s trips after the boxer-turned-politician helped him pay for his house and its amortization.

But last year, a falling out between the two happened after the senator flagged his long-time aide due to irregularities he allegedly committed.

Earlier this week, Joson started to spew statements to the media against Pacquiao.

Meanwhile, Lito Atienza shared with PEP.ph, what he and Manny discussed about Joson.

The former mayor of Manila clarified that Jayke is not Manny’s chief of staff but “was always ay hanger on. Yung pag may lakad si Manny, nandun na yun.”

According to Atienza, it was on Tuesday, October 19 when he and Manny talked about it. The latter even went emotional as their conversation goes by.

Atienza refuted Jayke’s claim that the senator allegedly run away P165M pesos.

The camp of Manny Pacquiao will be filing cyber libel, estafa and syndicated estafa against Joson. When the laster was asked for a comment regarding the cases he might face, he said: “By all means, bring it on.”

Pacquiao himself has yet to issue any statement regarding the claims of Joson.

The senator is currently gearing up for his candidacy as he runs for the highest position in the government alongside his vice-presidential running mate, Lito Atienza
