Janine Gutierrez called Bongbong Marcos “dugyot”? Here’s the reaction of the actress
JANINE GUTIERREZ – The Kapamilya actress denied calling presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos “dugyot” in a tweet.
The former senator will run for the highest position in the government in the 2022 elections. He will go against presidential aspirants; Vice President Leni Robredo, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, senators Manny Pacquiao, Ping Lacson and Bato dela Rosa.
As the election campaign nears, a lot of fake news is surfacing on social media.
Recently, Janine Gutierrez took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein she called out a tweet using her name in which she allegedly called Bongbong Marcos “dugyot.”
Here’s the tweet:
The tweet was first shared by user @LolaBashangmsgs, asking anyone to show proof that it was really tweeted by Janine herself.
Apparently, the display photo of the one who posted the fake statement is different from the original account of Janine.
Janine, on the other hand, stressed that the said tweet is fake. She also cited that the physical appearance of a person does not matter in politics.
Janine Gutierrez is a former Kapuso actress who transferred to ABS-CBN after almost a decade.
Meanwhile, as talks about politics continue to become intense on social media, Facebook has been wary of netizens, especially with fake news.
