According to him, every tandem is possible in the upcoming polls.

Marcos was asked about the possibility of a tandem with the presidential daughter during the Kapihan sa Manila Bay webinar.

But he stressed that a tandem with Senator Panfilo “Ping Lacson” and Senate President Vicente Sotto III might not be possible since the two have already announced their tandem in the next election.

The son of former president Ferdinand Marcos also noted a possible tandem between him and his cousin Leyte 1st District Representative Martin Romualdez.

Romualdez, the House Majority Leader, is the party president of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats.

The former senator said based on the report of Inquirer.net that he is now closer to come up with a decision on whether to run or not in the 2022 elections.

Meanwhile, Senator Imee Marcos revealed in an interview with ANC that Bongbong is considering running for the country’s highest post in the 2022 elections.

Although there’s no official declaration yet, she said that there’s a possibility for her younger brother to vie for the “top spot.”

Bongbong Marcos has been noted as the second-leading possible presidential candidate according to pre-election surveys.

Earlier, the former senator said that he will run for president in the 2022 elections if there is enough support.

However, he said that it is difficult to make a decision at the moment on whether he will vie for the said post due to many uncertainties.

Marcos lost to incumbent Vice President Leni Robredo in the 2016 elections. He protested his election defeat but the Supreme Court dismissed his appeal.
