Megastar Sharon Cuneta herself took to social media wherein she expressed her condolences to the family of her late impersonator, Ate Shawee.
The impersonator of the multi-awarded actress/singer died on Monday afternoon, July 26 at the age of 45.
The stand-up comedian passed away at the Chinese General Hospital due to liver cirrhosis.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Sharon Cuneta revealed that she was shocked upon learning the death of her impersonator.
“So it was a SHOCK to me to find out that my Official and favorite impersonator, Marvin, our Ate Shawee, had been sick and passed away…”
She later expressed her condolences to the bereaved loved ones of her impersonator whose real name is Marvin Martinez.
“My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones…Napakasakit nito sa akin at sa aking Sharonians. Mahal na mahal ko si Marvin at wala akong kamalay-malay kahit nung may sakit siya dahil I was in “escape mode” for peace kahit sandali lang sa Amerika. I love you and always will, my Ate Shawee, my Marvin,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta has returned to the country after spending some time in the US.
It was last month when Sharon’s eldest daughter KC Concepcion flew to California. Both KC and Sharon have legal resident status in the United States.
