Impersonator of Sharon Cuneta, Ate Shawee, passes away
ATE SHAWEE – The impersonator of Megastar Sharon Cuneta died on Monday afternoon, July 26 at the age of 45.
The comedian passed away at the Chinese General Hospital due to liver cirrhosis.
Ate Shawee’s niece Rafaela de Jesus confirmed the passing of the stand-up comedian.
Although he did not have any regular TV program in the country, Ate Shawee made movies and had TV guestings, and show in different countries.
It was on July 25 when his niece asked for financial help as they need P60,000 for the hospital bill of the comedian.
Earlier today, he was discharged from the hospital due to a lack of money.
Meanwhile, Ate Shawee’s bereaved family is thinking of burying him in a barangay hall in Tondo, Manila.
Rafaela said: “Pinag-iisipan pa po namin kung sa barangay hall o sa Dulce Funeral Homes siya ibuburol kasi po wala na po talaga kaming pambayad na pera”
“Sana po, makalikom kami ng pera para pambayad sa Dulce. Sana, may mga tumulong po para mabigyan siya ng maayos na burol hanggang sa huli,” she added.
