Robi Domingo on Gretchen Ho: “She got to go to the Olympics. She got to cover that one. Nakaka-proud.”
ROBI DOMINGO – The Kapamilya host shared that he is proud of his ex-girlfriend Gretchen Ho on her coverage of the Olympics recently.
In an interview with writer G3 San Diego, he revealed that all is well between them.
According to him, they have already moved on from their failed relationship.
Robi Domingo has been in a relationship with his non-showbiz girlfriend Maiqui Pineda for three years now.
At one point, he was asked about his ex-girlfriend Gretchen Ho.
“I think more than the emotions, there are lessons to be learned. We adapted to the situation and we moved forward for the best. She got to go to the Olympics. She got to cover that one. Nakaka-proud,” he said.
It was in March 2017 when Robi and Gretchen announced via a joint statement that they decided to end their relationship, three years after being together.
Meanwhile, in the same interview with G3, Robi Domingo shared how his love story with Maiqui started.
According to him, actor Piolo Pascual played a role in their relationship. He recalled that it was during a party when he first saw Maiqui.
Asked what made him decide to publicize his relationship with Pineda considering she’s not from the industry, he said: “It just felt right.”
Robi and Maiqui have been together for three years already and he said that their relationship is stronger than ever.
Robi has been a Kapamilya for 13 years since he was named Second Big Placer in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus in 2008.
He is part of Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN. He is currently being watched as the host of Game KNB? and mainstay of ASAP Natin ‘To.
