Dianne Medina Opens Up About Struggle With Fatty Liver, Preeclampsia During Pregnancy

DIANNE MEDINA – The wife of actor Rodjun Cruz revealed that she struggled with fatty liver and preeclampsia during her pregnancy last year.

The actress-host earned bashing after gaining weight and for her postpartum body.

But during his guesting in “Mars Pa More,” she became open about her struggles when had her pregnancy.

According to her, she had fatty liver and acute pancreatitis after consuming too much unhealthy and high-fat food while pregnant with her son, Baby Joaquin.

Aside from that, she had preeclampsia may be because of the unhealthy foods she consumed.

She also thought that taking a lot of food would result in more supply of breastmilk.

After undergoing a pescatarian diet for three months, she’s now okay.

It can be recalled that Rodjun Cruz and his wife Dianne Medina got engaged in October 2017 after dating since July 23, 2007

On December 21, 2019, they tied the knot at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila.

On September 10, 2020, she gave birth to her first child named Rodolfo Joaquin Diego Medina Illustre III.

Dianne Medina whose real name is Maria Patricia Dianne Perez Medina-Ilustre was a former member of ABS-CBN’s developmental talent agent Star Magic.

Her showbiz career started when she became one of the 12 finalists of Wazzup Wazzup’s 2006 Tadjock Search.

After winning the search, she became a regular segment host of the satirical comedy news program and appeared as a guest host of Studio 23’s morning news and talk show, Breakfast.

In 2009, aside from her appearances in ABS-CBN, she started appearing in TV5 shows,

In 2011, she played Beauty in TV5’s Babaeng Hampaslupa, and later appeared in ABS-CBN’s Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo and Mundo Man ay Magunaw in 2012.

At present, she’s a segment host in the Rise and Shine Pilipinas.
