Lolit Solis: “Halimbawa magkakasakit ako… hindi na ako magpapagamot!”
Lolit Solis also known as Manay Lolit told Ogie Diaz that she will not seek medical treatment when she becomes seriously ill.
In a vlog, the two talked about how expensive it is to get sick especially with COVID-19.
According to her, when a person has a cold or cough upon admission to the hospital, he/she is immediately suspected of having the dreaded disease.
“So, kailangan talaga i-test ka at kapag naging COVID patient ang ibabayad sa kuwarto ay 80 thousand a day kasi babayaran mo ‘yung PPE (personal protective equipment) lahat ng papasok sa ‘yo (kuwarto) na puwede pang more kasi baka may mga additional pa,” she said.
“And mag-stay ka ro’n hanggang gumaling ka and possible pinakamatagal na, 14 days. So 14 days times 80 (thousand) o sabihin na nating 100 thousand a day is equal to P1.4 million kaagad ang kailangan mong ibayad,” she added.
Lolit Solis stressed: “Kaya eto, knock on wood halimbawa magkakasakit ako at question mark naman kung masu-survive ko o hindi, talaga Ogie hindi na ako magpapagamot!”
Ogie Diaz then asked, why.
She explained: “Kasi ‘yung pera ko, mas mabuti na mapakinabangan na lang ng mga buhay! Kasi pag 74 years old ka na, naisip ko na nagawa ko naman na lahat. Handa na ako (mawala sa mundo) at least may asawa na ‘yung dalawa kong anak, ‘yung apo ko malaki na naman kesa naman matapon lang sa gamot ko ‘yung o hospitalization ko ‘yung pera na ‘yun?”
Lolit Solis added: “Sayang ‘yung P1.4 million, e, iwanan ko na lang sa kanila. Naisip ko kawawa ka talaga kapag mahirap ka, sinong makakabayad ng P1.4 million?”
