It was on May 8 this year when she announced her farewell to the said series.

Legal Wives is GMA-7’s new prime-time drama series that will air starting July 26.

She was supposed to portray the role of Zaina Guimba, the mother of Dennis Trillo’s character.

However, she did not finish the fifth cycle of Legal Wives’ lock-in taping after announcing her departure from the show.

When Cherie Gil left the program, she returned to the US because according to the source of PEP.ph, she allegedly had a reconciliation with her ex-husband, renowned Israeli violinist Rony Rogoff.

The two separated in 2008 after twenty (20) years of marriage.

Thirteen (13) years after their separation, someone close to them said that Cherie and Rony agreed to reunite as each other’s “companions.”

They have two children namely; Raphael and Bianca.

Her reunion with Rony is said to be one of the reasons why she left the Legal Wives.
