The Kapuso young actor admitted that he can’t really avoid being compared to his father who also went from showbiz to politics.

But JD (Joaquin’s nickname) said that it is too early for him to think about entering politics. Thus, he prefers to focus on his acting now.

“I don’t really think of that, but I’m not closing my doors. I don’t know, baka in the future po. Kasi yung politics that is something na iisipin mo when you’re in 30s na or even later in life,” he said.

“Well, my dad, he entered very early, but ako, my plan po talaga muna is showbiz muna po,” he added.

Joaquin Domagoso noted that he did not intend to follow in the footsteps of his father who started as an actor before entering politics.

The Kapuso star was also asked if it is difficult to have a famous father.

He said: “Siguro, there are times, lalo na kung gusto ko nang umuwi at may nagpapa-picture pa kay Papa. Yung mga ganu’n lang naman po.”

“Pero aside from that, okey lang, wala naman pong problema,” he added.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Domagoso will star in the movie “Caught In The Act” alongside “PBB Connect” 2nd big placer Andi Abaya.
