Manila Mayor Isko Moreno shared in an interview with “We Rise Together” hosts DJ Jhaiho, Charlie Dizon, and Anthony Jennings if he has any plans to return to showbiz.
Isko Moreno or popularly known as Yorme previously had a cameo role in the 2019 MMFF entry of Coco Martin titled “3pol Trobol, Huli Ka Balbon.”
But according to Isko Moreno himself, showbiz is not his priority now.
“Noong pumasok ako (sa politics) 90 percent binaligtad ko,” he said.
“I dedicated my life in to public service and engage myself to further knowledge and understanding how government works, how to create policy technically speaking and programs of governance that based on facts and data. So I dedicated my life to public service,” he explained.

According to him, his primary focus at the moment is public service thus “attending the public issues and public programs and services.”
In the later part of the interview, Isko Moreno shared one of the things he learned from the late German Moreno or Kuya Germs.
“You have to focus. Showbiz is a career treat it professionally yan ang sinasabi ni Kuya Germs. So when you treat it professionally so naturally you will treat your colleagues and people around you [well] because you treat it as a career and a profession,” he said based on the article of the entertainment website, Push.

Francisco Moreno Domagoso started his showbiz career via That’s Entertainment.
He then later ventured into acting and among his first movie is “Muntik na Kitang Minahal” wherein he became the leading man of Claudine Barretto.
At present, he’s serving as the Mayor of Manila and he has been notified as one of the top-performing mayors today.
