Even before the pandemic hit the country, Bearwin suffered financial crisis.

He last appeared on television via Kapamilya sitcom, Home Sweetie Home in 2018.

Aside from that, he lost on his candidacy as a councilor during the May 2019 elections.

“Hindi pa man nagpa-pandemic, tumakbo akong konsehal sa Taytay. Hindi rin naman pinalad,” he said.

But what’s worse is when Bearwin Meily was forced to sell his dream house which he built for his family.

He said: “Nakabili ako ng bahay before pandemic… One thing, wala kaming pambayad. Kesa maremata ng banko, binenta ko.”

Bearwin Meily admitted that he swallowed his pride when he decided to sell their dream house.

Despite losing their home, Bearwin’s outlook on life remained positive.

“Hindi mababayaran yung blessing na spiritual na nanggagaling sa Diyos. Lagi dun ako kumakapit,” he said.

“On the other side of the story, nagre-rent kami pero hindi kami masyado naghahagilap,” he added.

At the moment, Bearwin Meily is contented with his family’s simple life.
