Huawei SERES SF5 Smart Electric Vehicle now official in China.

Tech giant Huawei officially launched its first smart electric vehicle in China, the Huawei SERES SF5 smart electric vehicle.

The smart vehicle created by Huawei and SERES featured the DriveONE Three-in-One Electric Drive system for reducing range anxiety and “world-class” coupe performance as a part of its “1+8+N” strategy.

In purely electric mode, the said vehicle had a range of more than 1,000 km with 0 to 100 kph speed.

The said vehicle has the Huawei HiCar solutions to allow users to seamlessly switch between their mobile phone apps to the vehicle’s central control panel for easy access to music, navigation, and more.

Also, HiCar can connect the car to other smart devices so that users in the said vehicle can turn on smart screens, air condition, and other connected devices at home.

For audio, the said vehicle has a “three-dimensional surround audio system” consists of 11 sound units tuned by Huawei SOUND core technicians and acoustic experts.

In addition, the said vehicle has an NVH solution with a library-level silence of 38dB in order to deliver an immersive opera-like sound quality.

Moreover, the said vehicle has a vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) rescue recharge mode which can give emergency power to isolated vehicles in the wilderness. It also went with a vehicle-to-load (V2L) camping power supply mode to power stereos, induction cookers, and other equipment on the go.

For safety, the said vehicle’s twisting and bending strength met “five-star” safety design standards. Particularly, the said used ultra-high-strength 1500Mpa thermoformed steel.

Also, the said vehicle has traffic congestion assistance, L2+ level automatic assisted driving, full speed domain adaptive cruise control, and other features.

Inside the said vehicle, the front row was equipped with sporty and sophisticated seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, and the intimate smart welcome mode made every getting in and out of the vehicle more convenient and comfortable.

The said vehicle was priced in China at CNY 218,800 for 2WD variant and CNY 246,800 for 4WD variant.

In addition, the said vehicle can be purchased in Charcoal Black, Deep Ocean Blue, Titanium Silver Grey, and Pearl White colorways with Garnet Red, Midnight Black, and Ivory White interior trim starting April 21, 2021.
