Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, the daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte led the survey anew with 27%.

Followed by former senator Bongbong Marcos, with 13 percent, and Sen. Grace Poe and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on the 3rd spot with 12 percent respectively.

Earning the 4th spot is Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 11 percent followed by Vice President Leni Robredo with 7 percent.

On the other hand, Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go landed 6th place with 5 percent followed by former Vice President Jejomar Binay with 3 percent.

Sen. Panfilo Lacson and Taguig-Pateros Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano tied on the last spot with 2 percent respectively.

Sara Duterte was named as the most preferred presidential candidate in Mindanao with 60 percent followed by the Visayas with 21 percent and Luzon with 17 percent.

But she was least preferred in Metro Manila with only 12 percent in the survey conducted last February 22 until March 3.

Meanwhile, False Asia landed as one of the trending topics on Twitter with some questioning the legitimacy of the survey results conducted by Pulse Asia.

The public opinion polling body has been conducting surveys, particularly before national elections since 1999.
