Filipino People Without Lovelife Jump to 18 Percent, SWS Survey Says
The Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey reported that the numbers of Filipino people without lovelife reaches 18 percent.
SWS reported that the numbers of the Filipino people with no love life in the year 2020 is the highest over the previous years. The figure was based on the result of the agency’s survey conducted last November 21-25, 2021.
“The latest percentage of those with no love life is a new all-time high that surpassed the previous record of 14 percent in 2016, 2017, and 2019,” SWS said.
The amount of Filipinos with no love life reportedly increased due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, which severely affects the social life of the public. The quarantine restriction is allegedly one of the major factors.
The survey also shows that around 50 percent of those who were in a relationship are happy with their lovelife. 39 percent of the participants who have a lovelife would celebrate the Valentine’s Day while 27 percent would just let it pass.
However, SWS clarified that the health crisis has no “significant connection” with the celebration of the Valentine’s Day based on the survey results.
