Concerned Woman Expresses Sympathy Towards Poor Rider Waiting Outside Customer’s Home
A concerned woman has posted the photo of a poor delivery rider patiently waiting outside of his customer’s residence.
A Facebook user named Clariss Glorio has expressed her concern towards a delivery rider who patiently waits for his customer outside of its house. The post garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the photo, it can be seen that the delivery worker is standing outside of his customer’s house while holding the parcel under the extreme heat of the sun. The rider seems having a hard time to deliver the parcel to his customer.
Glorio took pity on the rider and decided to take a photo and posted it on social media to raise awareness. She said that online shops and delivery riders were a great help to the Filipino people especially during this time of coronavirus pandemic.
The concerned woman reminded the Filipino people to be more considerate towards the delivery employees.

“Nakita ko lng itong eksena na ito pag silip ko sa gilid ng gate namin. Naghhintay si kuyang rider sa gitna ng initan, hawak ang maliit na plastic bag kumakatok para pagbuksan siya. Ilang minuto ng nakalipas naghhintay pa din siya. Sa totoo lang sa panahon ngaun napaka helpful ng mga online shops. Mga rider na nag ri-risk ng buhay para wag na tayong lumabas. Pero nakakalungkot lang na may mga taong walang pagmmalasakit, sana kung alam na COD maghanda ng saktong pera, makkita namn sa apps kung kailan iddeliver ung order mo, so kung ngaun nakalagay at nagmsg na sayo ang courier anticipate mo na anytime of the day pwede na ideliver para makapaghanda ka. Hindi ka na nagpabalik balik, nakasave ka pa ng oras ni kuya. Hindi lang tayo ang ppuntahan ni kuyang rider, marami pa. Ano ba namn yung ihanda mo na ung pambayad ahead of time para i-abot na lng sa kanya, imagine ppiktyuran ka pa nia bago siya umalis. Maswerte na tayong nasa bahay lng hinihintay ung mga kailngan natin, mga essentials sa buhay isama na natin ang lugaw. May mga pamilya at anak silang araw-araw nagdadasal harinawa maging maayos ang pagttrabaho nila sa daan. Kaya sana naman bukod sa maging mabait, magalang, matutong magpasalamat para maginhawa ang isip nila sa daan ng malayo sila sa kapahamakan ay magkaroon din tayo ng pagmmalasakit para sa knila.
