Angela Rojas, also known online as Angela Ken, was one of the most promising young talents seen on TikTok recently.

Her TikTok success story started out the same way musicians on the said platform did — posting covers and snippets of her originally-composed songs.

From a young age, Angela was already inclined to music as she even wrote her first composition — a worship song — at the age of 12. But when she started using TikTok, she didn’t think that she would actually begin sharing her talents with other people on the said platform.

The original song that she posted on TikTok was a track called “Ako Naman Muna”. Though she only shared a snippet of her composition on TikTok, the said video quickly went viral on the app and was eventually shared on other social media platforms as well.

According to her, she’s at a low point in her life when she wrote “Ako Naman Muna” and was even in tears while writing the first verse of the song.

Angela’s “Ako Naman Muna” was such a powerful song that it eventually reached the radar of Star Music.

PUSH reported that Angela was officially a Star Magic talent and a recording artist under ABS-CBN MUSIC. As per the report, she’ll soon be seen in projects and shows under Dreamscape Entertainment.

Angela was also set to appear as one of the new-breed singers on ASAP. For her, getting her start on TikTok was a fulfillment of her lifelong dream as it led the way for her to join ABS-CBN.

Ever since I was a kid, one of my dreams is to become a well-known singer. I love singing because it helps me express how I feel in a unique way,” Angela shared.
