Will Willie Revillame run in the 2022 elections?
WILLIE REVILLAME – The Wowowin host has been speculated to run in the 2022 national elections following his photo with President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go.
On Tuesday, the three had a simple dinner at the Malacañang Palace. Their conversation lasted for four and a half hours.
According to a source of PEP.ph, the president is said to be an avid viewer of Wowowin, the gameshow and public service program of Willie Revillame on GMA-7.
Duterte is said to be aware of the efforts done by the popular TV host to jeepney drivers who lost their jobs due to the coronavirus pandemic, and to Filipinos who were devastated by super typhoons last year.
That’s why the President invited him to the Palace for a personal thank you.
Duterte allegedly asked Willie if he wanted to help many people in a bigger way.
To which he replied, “Pag-iisipan kong mabuti. Ipagdarasal ko.”
Meanwhile, Willie Revillame might run as the possible running mate of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, who’s rumored to run as president, or as a senatorial candidate.
His photo with the president is currently making rounds online garnering reactions from the netizens.
